Art 30.1.15

We meant to start using Meet The Masters this week.  That was before I went to the shops and saw the long lines of people waiting to buy their supplies for the new school year.  So next week instead.  This week we did lesson one of You Can Draw In 30 Days by Mark Kistler instead.

My drawing.

  1. Wow! Very nice! I have his "Draw Squad" book on order. Hoping it will be simple enough for my kids to basically teach themselves...

    1. Oh great, let me know how they go. Books like 'Draw Really Cool Stuff' by Doug DuBosque and others like it which are often for sale at news-agencies
are good. I found the kids would happily grab these off the shelf to draw by themselves. They can go through patches of discouragement though, particularly at the beginning. We just keep it positive, and keep encouraging them and they eventually pass through this stage.

  2. There is a lot of talent in your family! Great to see drawing from Mum too.

    1. I love drawing. I find that my interest help to motivate the children even though some of them have now surpassed me in skill. That's okay. I ask them for advice now ;)
